If you find yourself a different exhaust (for sleeving / cherry bombing per chance?), you may find that the rear hanger is in a slightly different position. I did this recently - I bought a second hand system form a '93 4.0 to get modded and replace the std one from my '99 500. My original has the flexi section, the old one doesn't, but I was told this doesn't matter in the least as the very last few Chims went back to the full solid type anyway.

My only snag was the rear hanger. It needed to be cut out and welded back in a few inches futher back. Offords did this for nowt when they were fitting the Cherries.
