Is there such a thing as a check valve in the washer system (to stop the water draining back down when the washers are not being used).

They seem to take an awful long time, two or three sweeps, before the water starts squirting. Dry wipers on a windscreen put my teeth on edge.

Don't bother searching for your failed one.you can buy a new in line non return valve from any decent motor factor,my last one cost 99p.just cut the washer pipe and secure it with a cable tie on each end.

Yeh, mine's in the pipe about 300 mm after the pump, looks like a black in-line connector. As said just pick up a replacement from a motor factors, 2 minute job to install.

I thought there must be but then again with TVR you never know. Wouldn't surprise me to find a toilet cistern ball valve in there somewhere silly

Thanks folks.
