Tyres- use of Dunlop SP2000?
Discussion
No experience of SP2000's - not heard them recommended either... The recommendations for tyres seem to be based on the characteristics of the side walls (height/stiffness) and obviously the grip - though someone will probably correct me on this. Not sure what the SP2000's are like in this respect.
I have Toyo's on my 500 and they fine. I don't think these are widely available any more though. The new tyre of choice seems to be the Dunlop SP9000. These have the benefit of being available in ZR rating.

I dont think there is an SP2000 to fit a TVR!
HOWEVER
I think the SP9000's are excellent. My experience:- They transformed my Griff from an evil handling monster on (admittedly the factory original) SO1's into a real pleasure. Progressive breakaway, excellent wet or dry braking, very little tramlining, and the price when I had them was very favourable too. I will fit them again next time round.

I'll second every word of that, exactly my experience on my 450 ChimI think the SP9000's are excellent. The SP2000 is an old tyre iirc. The SP9000 or the Sport Maxx would be a smarter choice.
