Pipes (metal) or hoses (rubber)?

Pipes are unlikely to leak unless they've been exposed to a lot more corrosion than normal. It's quite common for hoses to start weeping with age though, particularly if they've been exposed to heat or oil.

Replaced mine (hoses) with some from Halfords. Standard rubber was fine for the first 10 years, and only replaced as a precaution as it seemed prudent to do so while the engine was out.

May be worth checking the two hoses to the rear of the right hand rocker cover. They have a tendency to crack due to the heat, as they are close to the manifold. The inlet one joins the pipe above the bellhousing, bit of a pain to get to but okay if you remove the plenum. If replacing, make sure you use proper fuel hose clips when refitting (plenty of posts on here about this issue).
