Passenger window not working - any ideas?
Discussion
I noticed that mine was a bit intermittent - turned out to be a broken wire in the ducting between the door and the car - gave it a wiggle (so to speak) and it worked. Spent yesterday evening replacing it and bleeding into the passenger door.
If you take the speaker out you can check the voltage on the electric window connector. http://www.chimaerapages.com has some good pictures showing the connector etc.

The connector to the motor itself is abysmal. Remove the speaker to get at it. Trim the excess rubber off the open end of the connector and use a small screwdriver to crimp the terminals up a bit (you'll need to poke the screwdriver between the rubber and the actual connector). While you're in there check the connector at the other end of this short piece of wire, but you'll probably find it's fine.
I think it's cos you are a knuckle dragging fvcktard

It's a TVR, what do you expect?!
It's on account of how they used to be built in Blackpool... what do you think the donkeys did for a living in winter?
They ALL have flaky electrics and they ALL handle like a baby hippopotomus on roller skates. If you save up a bit more and buy the latest model, you get the added bonus of an in-house engine that needs a full rebuild every other major service, too...

..didn`t Emma Peel have one of those...nice little car for girlies
She did. So did Jim Clark. Some of us have nothing to prove.
You'll notice from my profile that I used to have a Griffith myself. Apart from the Tesco's-shopping-trolley-with-a-wobbly-wheel handling, I could never quite come to terms with the fact that most of my fellow TVR owners seemed to feel the need for huge engines in order to compensate for *ahem* shortcomings elsewhere.
