The picture says it all. Who the hell fits a gasket that's an inch too small. Maybe it shrunk?

Isn't it?

Love to know who thought fitting that was a good idea. I'm amazed it wasn't pissing oil instead of the slight weep I had. Probably the same person who bodged the 100amp fuse holder with mastic rolleyes

Anyway, all done now with a proper rubber one. That fits.

CHUFF ME!!! Amazed you didn't have an oil fire when you braked and the oil surged forward (I presume that's the oil filler we can see there), A disloged valley gasket seal was enough to make it look as if something terminal had let go under braking, and that was a minute gap compared to that!

It just gets better. I'm beginning to think that maybe my car has the ability to shrink gaskets.

My exhaust gasket(s) were chuffing a bit so I handed the car over to Matt at Sebring in Wisbech. When we spoke on the phone to arrange collecting it he said "Bring your camera". 'Someone' had fitted standard Range Rover gaskets instead of the correct ones. In the photo the old one is underneath the new.

Looks near enough to merolleyes. "Yeah, use those ones mate. Nobody will ever know." I tell you, some f*%#ing people shouldn't be allowed near a car.
