Running concern

Probably me just being over sensitive but had a good run out to Chimfest and then on the run out to the reservior but on the way home the car almost sounded as though it was slightly missing.

No hesitancy, loss of power or lack of acelleration or even difficulties in maintaining speed but it just sounded from the exhaust note that it was slightly off beat.

Presumably if I was a plug down or an injector blocked I would notice something more significant wouldn't I?

Bit low on fuel by my return so I'm also wondering if I had drawn through some old fuel or low octane fuel previously used (only had the car a few weeks)

Sorry for the rambling post but I just wondered if its me or something else - all the pug leads were OK when I got back and dizzy cap clean etc.

Thanks Q - will check again tonight - to be honest I think a plug down would be quite noticeable though - did yours run off beat noticeably prior to the fix?
