Stupid question, but I have had enough of waiting for someone else to ask and I have searched previous threads and read the bible, but no answer.

Please can someone put me out of my misery and tell me where I can top up the windscreen washer reservoir on my chim?

But seriously, where are the washer jets, I can't see them anywhere.

And does anyone know what the curved piece of tubing on my wipers is? Looks like its for carrying some sort of fluid, but doesn't appear to have any hole in the end for expelling it.

OK I know what the black tube on the wipers it carries the water to the screen, from the bottle. Tiv's don't have washer jets. The holes are along the tube not at the end.
I still don't know where the pumps situated I'll check the bible.

Cheers Big Al. I'll have a look today and see if its something like the holes in these tubes being blocked or if it's somwehere else. Pretty sure I can hear the pump going, just not getting any water out.

THIS WARNING MAY BE COMMING A BIT LATE BUT

According to Steve H in the bible don't pull on the pipes If they come adrift below the grill area it's sounds like a dash out job

Question, if the water reservoir is full and the pump is working, any water in the foot well?

The washer bottle is at the front of the radiator, behind the grill, accessible via the mesh grill on early cars , or thru the wheelarch on newer ones. Slots down into a bracket, to remove slide up.

The motor's can fail ( voice of experience) spare motors around £10 readily available from halfords. ( trust me, take the old one to match it yourself, not worth wasting time asking the monkeys.)

Hmm, there has been some water in the footwell, but it was after torrential rain so assumed it was that, as it was about an inch deep. Could it be me squirting the entire washer reservoir through a broken pipe?

Haven't pulled on anything yet though so will watch out for that.
