Had to sell my '99 T 450 recently. I'm struggling due to back prob's and having only 2 seats was proving difficult.
I have purchased a new Focus ST-3 in orange..what else.
The Focus has a nice little growl from the 5 pot, just not quite the same as the TVR...ho hum.
Point is, i can at least take the brood with me now.
i'm still using it as a 2nd 'high days/holiday' car, so it could take a while for the mileage to build/fully run in.
Will miss my TVR, 1st time without any Tiv for 4 years now.

Waynester, I've suffered for a few years from back problems and have just bought a '97 400, knowing It might be a problem, so I can only do relatively short journeys at present, still playing about with cushions and back supports so I know what it's like. Hope you find a way back to the fold eventually.
