The sump does not use a gasket and I would not recommend one. I tried this and the enegine heat cooked the gasket corking and it disintegrated into the sump. Luckily I was taken the sump off again so saw the problem before it bacame one! The debris will block the oil pickup and starve the engine of oil.
What a TVR mechanic told me to do was to buy a tube of the liquid gasket stuff. Squeeze this onto the sump mating surface like toothpaste then leave it to dry. Do not be tempted to spread the sealant around.
You can even leave the sump overnight for the sealant to dry on the surface. What you are left with is a rubbery tube like gasket that squashes nicely into all the little gaps when the sump is tightened.

Where did you get that from then? I thought they were only available for the later models (p38) which have a different sump.Dave
