Black or Silver Dials
Discussion
Hi, I'm after some views / pics on whether to leave my dials black or rub them down or paint them silver (4.0 '94 chim). I'm fitting a new leven dash - I've seen one that looks really good with silver dials, but it has a blue dash top. My dash is entierly cream and I'm not sure whether the silver will work? Leven recommend leaving them black. The only thing is the existing black bezel is quite corroded and showing signs of surface rust. Any advice appreciated.
Thanks

My dash top is cream (biscuit, whatever) and I've fitted the Leven dash and all the other Leven shiny bits but left the dials black. I can take some pics of it tonight if you like. I thought about polishing up the bezels, but I would then have had to change the heater control wheels too. I also felt that there's quite a bit of black on the radio panel (buttons / warning light clusters) so it would look fine with the black dials.
Let me know if you want some pics.

although obviously the dial faces are black so not a perfect comparison.
