The housing that holds the oil pressure pipe from the gauge on the dash to the main block was dripping oil. I tried to tighten it up but I think its seized to the main nut. Having taken it out its badly burred and I need a new one. Anybody know where I can get one ??

Not following. You have a mechanical oil pressure gauge?

Yes. Just a pipe screwed into the engine block and then up to the gauge in the dash. Its a 1992 JE Engineering lump (not in my TVR paperbag) but I'd thought you'd all help as you lot are always so helpful wink

These usually screw into the oil filter housing, often via an adapter. Is this what you're talking about? If so, you'll need to re-seal the leaky fitting, which may require replacing the adapter. To do that you will need to find out what the threads are. Given that it isn't a standard part, this will involve asking the man who built the engine, or taking it off and measuring the threads.
