How do you check your brake fluid reservoir ?? Unscrewing the top and looking in I can see no indicators to suggest where the max might be, is there a way of telling or do I have to remove the sealant to see any guidelines ??

The min/max level marks are on the outside of the reservoir (where you can't see them).

If the fluid is within about 3/4" of the top of the reservoir (not counting the neck) it's OK. If it's lower than that you may have a problem, but don't just fill it up and assume it's OK for a long trip. How much has the level changed over the last few weeks and months? You would expect it to go down very gradually as the pads wear. You should NOT top it up to compensate for this. If it's going down significantly then you have to worry where it's going and fix the problem, don't just assume it's OK to top it up and keep going.

The brake warning light at the bottom centre of the dash (with a ! symbol) will light if the reservoir is nearly empty.

Had another look and about 3/4 inch from the top you can see a line, don't know if its a marker or not but thats where it was up to so I've left it as is.
