Got my chimp back on Saturday from Carizma in Melton Mowbray, after Ben and Thomas replaced the swiss cheese chassis!!! just wanted to pass the word on about the top job they did for me!!! shocks and rack next! (hope i haven't broken any rules?)

Constantly picking on the short form of Chimaera thing is nuts. No one when speaking calls their Chimaera a "Chim", "Chime" or "Chimp" - I guess we all talk about our "Chimaera". Griffith shortens easily to "Griff", but Chimaera doesn't shorten to anything so why do Chimaera owners feel the need in posting about their Chimaera to truncate the word to "Chimp"? It would make more sense to use the short-form "Chi" pronounced "Kai" than anything else viz Kai400; Kai450 or Kai500.

Anyway back to the point - what did they do to the chassis?

Sounds like you need to buy a second roof, you are already half way to joining the 'roofless?' clan.

Ops, have to learn how to spell it! Nah the roof is fine, more like a flintstones car! Had both sides/outriggers replaced. The wishbones blasted and painted, bushes done. Waxoiled too.
