The clutches on these cars should last a lot longer than 40 odd thou, the standard exhausts were carbon steel, I think they are about the £400 mark.

If you join the tvrcc and get the sprint mag some of these costs are advertised - if I remember rightly there are places in there that change the clutch for just over £500 odd.

I had a new clutch fitted about three years ago which cost £620 inc at Austec.
A new exhaust is £460 at http://www.tvrcarparts.com/pages/partdetail.asp?id...
It sounds even better with an Offords cherry bomb conversion! biggrin

The exhausts are steel, yours will probably be no problem. The only common problem encountered is with the pre-cats, but these can be simply removed at minimal cost.

Clutch may have already been replaced, some last 100k...

the "front bit" (exhaust manifolds to dustbin) are OEM mild steel.

Just had my clutch replaced on the 4.5 with a Helix uprated unit for 450ish quid all in at Top Gear Automotive in Wolverhampton (search on google for them, great guys!)

The Clutch i am not sure about but the exhaust realy depends on how much of the system you are looking to replace, if it is just the exhaust then what everyone else said, but if you are looking to replace the complete systems, ie manifolds, cats, y-piece and exhaust then it will be a lot more.

I did the complete system on mine, and had the manifolds, cats & y-piece ceramic coated and the whole system was about £2500 from ACT.

That price included the cherry bomb exhaust as well, my car now sounds awesome.
