Afternoon all, i was looking through the ever diminishing pile of bits, which will soon be my engine again, and i came across a piece of rubber pipe about 6-8 inches long and probably 8mm i/d (guess), with a bolt, jubilee clipped into one end, Any ideas? confused

Fits to outlet on top of the inlet manifold and I think is an aid to bleeding the cooling system... at least that's what I do with it smile

Dont forget Pupp, that Tvr dont use stock cooling hoses so thats probably why theres no return, what do you think its for bleeding?

Seems to be at the heighest point of the system apart from the swirl pot cap and top hose... whenever I've had to refill, I just pop the bung out and extend the hose tail vertically, seems to work whether intentional or not.

The supply to the throttle body heater is at the front near side of the inlet manifold, as standard the return is into a spigot on the heater return pipe. I've seen cars with the heater return pipe relocated out of the valley, and if TVR have made a bespoke return pipe for this it may well be that it doesn't have the return spigot.

Cack piccie as it's dark in there, but there'e the little bugger... spigot is directly behind the two coolant temperature senders (the wired one and the redundant one) and taps off at an angle towards the near side.
