Door mirror button....

No doubt done before albeit I couldn't find the answer on an advanced search. Nonetheless, the off side door mirror button has suddenly stopped functioning. It was fine just a couple of days ago but now when I press it there is nothing at all. Could somebody please tell me what I should look for; I am going away with the car in a couple of days and would really like it working before then! I presume that the switch itself is the most likely culprit. I have tried liberally applying WD40 behind the mirror glass but to no avail. If I have to replace the switch, where can I get these from and what will I need to re-affix the mirror glass, assuming this just prises out? Any help greatly appreciated.
Most likely the wiring on the actual button as this can corrode very easily (happened to both of mine).
New switches are about £15 and I got mine from the clevertrevor website.
They are fiddly to get into and fit though.
Mirror glass pops out - theres a little slider on the bottom underside of the glass which you need to move to one side though do hold the glass as it will possibly just fall out.
