Offord exhaust mod - db level?

Has anyone with the Offords cherry bomb exhaust ever had their car noise tested at a track day? interested what it came out at? LOL apart from "f'ing loud!"

Had mine done about a week ago, and f*ing loud is exactly what it is. Dare I say too loud? Lots of fun though!

I've got 'bombs on mine, main cat still present. A friend of mine had a noise meter on his phone (!)which I can't imagine being that accurate, however, at 4500 rpm at 1 meter and 45 degrees from the exhaust, the answer was....

.....114 dBs. Track day? Not while your arse points downwards!

Hi chaps - thinking of doing this addition as well - are these cherry bombs easy to fit yourself?

I am assuming its a case of cutting out a section of the existig pipework and inserting the new sections or am I kidding myself? Any guide on costs?
