Good To Be Back

Been back a couple of days after two very hot weeks (and many a cold beer) in Lesvos and yes ..... before anyone asks there were a few Lesvians about

I was tempted, after dumping the cases on my return of going straight to the garage and starting up the Chimaera ... although at 2.30am I thought it may not best please the neighbours! I did have a look in the garage though shortly after getting home just to have a look at the car and remind me of the dream I have realised So, early next morning to the garage to fire the Chimaera up - had left trickle charger on and my kindly neighbour told me he checked the car every day. Fired first time without problem. Off for a drive and all fine. Got slightly moody whilst waiting at a set of traffic lights and it thought about stalling but a few seconds of keeping up the revs and it was fine.

Spent weekend giving the car a good polish and re-proofing the roof with Fabsil (thanks to tvr bob's very useful earlier posting)

Its good to be back after a fortnight away from the Chimaera - think it missed me too
