My wipers work fine on every setting but the intermittent wipe, where they get stuck on the screen towards the far end of their travel. I have tried adjusting the timing of the intermittency (is that a word?) to no avail, but like I say they work fine on all the other setting (slow, fast etc.
They also get suck when they finish the cycle on wash/wipe too.
Any ideas please? Thank you. Stuart

No they don't park properly after use. Only if I get the timing right!!
I have been playing around with Sat Nav and Snooper aerials under the dashboard but that was some weeks ago. However, it has been quite dry in sunny Bedford so I may not have noticed if I have been clumsy.

The intermittent and wash wipe modes simply pulse the motor & then rely on the parking mechanism to complete the sweep. You just need a new park switch more than likely.

In which case it's almost certainly the park switch. Costs about £5-£10 and easilly fitted if you know one end of a spanner from a hammer.
The switch is situated under the wiper motor and therefore gets wet from water draining off down the inside of the wing/engine bay.
Consequently they just corode and rot with time.

There are destructions on Chimaera Pages.
