Yesterday morning I could not get out of reverse, then a bit later when I stopped for fuel I could not get out of out of second and then ten minutes later I could not get in to any gear at all. On each occasion I was stationary, so I stopped the engine and everything worked perfectly. And before you ask the obviuos, yes I was using the clutch. I then drove 300 miles home with no further problems. Any ideas what's going on?

Maybe you have the early symptoms of a clutch hydraulic problem. I would check if either the Clutch Master or Slave are starting to leak(checked the fluid?).

The first clue is normally trouble selecting reverse without the noise, was that ok?

Its started making a sort of grinding/squealing sound now when I push in the clutch. Its just like a problem the dealer fixed with a new gearbox spigot bearing 6 weeks ago. Sounds like the same problem has returned. I'll take it back and see what they say.
