My car is to be picked up this week for repair (hopefully wednesday) but i went out to the garage today to try to start it but the car would not let me into it, could someone please e-mail me the method used to get into car when battery is flat so i can put it on trickle charge.

TIA

You have a Leven Anderson jobby on the car Glyn that will let you charge the battery or jump start it.

Or have you left the leads in the boot?

But of course they are in the boot mate wink

Can't believe i've left it to go flat, i've only had the car for over 2 years and never had this happen to me.

Mind you, did try to get to it at Le Mans to jump start a Range Rover (i think it was) but could not get to it to fit the leads, i think the car needs to be jacked up to get the plug in as, if i remember properly, its fitted underneath the chassis in the centre of the engine bay (whose idea was that?)

No it's not ...it's on the chassis behind the off side front wheel.

Great idea IMHO but I never had to use it hehe

Would someone be able to mail me this method, too. 4 years of Chim ownership with no access issues, my time must be on the way, and forewarned, etc, etc.....
