You need a modicum of a SOH to own a TVR, sounds like you might be changing to a Volvo shortly.....

Talk about being sensible yikes, chap asks for help in buying, goes to look at a car, buys it.... Then tells us its only got 25-30psi oil pressure. Fine if its a serp, but a pre-serp? I'd be pulling over if mine was that low... Didn't want to piss on the fire at the time, but oh well.

Bit aggressive for your 6th post isn't it old chap?
Perhaps you have just said goodbye to any "sensible" posts.
Spelling and punctuation wouldn't go amiss either wink

Decent quality prewax, wax etc., try P21s, system works for me...plus elbow grease, carnauba seems to suit grp/tivs softens the curves better (yes have tried other stuff), yellow shouldnt show marks etc as much as darker colours.

Oh, keep your hair on! Theyre a useful lot on here as you may discover. Need a sense of humour with these cars!!

Off to play with me Playstation now.....paperbag

Try using the Mothers clay bar system then wax with P21s both from fleabay...

End result after a few hours will be something like this....

Adds a lot more reflections and puts the bright back into BrightYellowTVR!

Cheers,
Jon

^^^^ What he said.
You have probably lost yourself a few "friends" before you have even made them.

I too can 'big up' P21S carnauba wax, i have used it on many cars after a polish and its excellent, i've not found a wax thats easier to apply or buff off (If you use microfibre clothes). You can get it from www.cleanandshiny.co.uk and a few other places like www.motorgeek.co.uk for about £20.
Obviously more beneficial if you do a polish before the wax, either by hand or machine, but still a great product for a single coat.

Also, Nattys Paste Wax (Or Nattys Blue for darker cars) is a good product too, and smells great.

Thanks

Matt

To Spend and E2DJH sory abowt spelin but you need a gud cence ov humor 2 live withu guys.
All joking apart you are right, been a d-ck head no need for it, put it down to panic over all bad comments made about cars from non TVR owners, yes too sensitive but learnt lesson, sorry, no bad feelings guys !!!.
Buy the way did drive past local chinese, trouble was at was all red, blood red from the aggro, decided to phone for take away instead.

Still unsure on comment about oil pressure should run around 25/30 p.si am i right!!.
Had car two weeks now apart form daft little TVR bits which the guy told me about, all going o.k. turns a lot of heads, yes its an unusual colour yellow but I think it looks good, my choice, I live with it.
