Does anyone know of any manufacturers of hard roofs for the Chimaera?

Zertec, if you can get hold of them. By the way, why? Perhaps you miss the point. Sports cars are soft tops

TVR Malaysia made them for their racers. IIRC someone on here managed to buy one off them (roof that is).

Hi

It was me that you recall, dear sir.

TVR Malaysia fitted them to the racing Chims that they run (ran?)

Alas, I was not sucessful. Got to the point of getting the chequebook out (about £950) but the bossman of TVR Malaysia read the small print on his trading contract with Blackpool and found out that they were not allowed to export parts to the UK.

No getting around it!

In response to the WHY question - My wife had an MX5 with a hard top and it was great in winter (november to february), kept out the draughts and generally protected the hood. Our TVR is and everyday car in will be used in all weathers (apart from snow) and so I thought it was a jolly good idea. Makes them look quite eveil as well (as if they were not menacing enough?!)

Sorry that I did not have more positive news.
