I think my Reverse light switch wiring may have broken and need repairing/replacing. Whilst reversing today it started flickering and stopped working soon after.

Has anyone changed this? If so, how difficult is it and how is it done?!

Thanks,

Tim.

I've changed mine on the Griff. It is a complete tt of a job because you don't just change it but you have to set it to the correct height to get it to be on when in reverse and off when not (obviously wink)
So you need at lease one mate who can pop the car in and our of reverse and see the reverse lights come on while you are under the car tweaking the switch.

Mind you, your problem could just be an iffy connection. They are easy to get to and pull apart/clean/grease etc.

May just be a connection as it flickered on and off for a bit, so maybe a broken wire. Am i right in thinking it is on the side of the gearbox and get to it from under the car?

Was not working at all yesterday, but been working fine all day today! - Hopefully dodgy connection rather than complete switch.
