Noise from passenger footwell - Petrol?
Discussion
In the past few days i have noticed a sucking/glugging.... not sure how to describe it, but basically like a liquid flowing through a pipe when driving. Doesn't really make it (or at least not noticably) when idling but when accelerating/reving it does.
I dont have bible in car at moment but seem to remember there is something related to the fuel supply located down that way?
Has anyone else had similar noises? (If you understood my vague description!) Should i be concerned?
Thanks,
Tim.

yes mine does this under acceleration sometimes.
i just add it to the large list of interesting noises my tvr makes
having come from a 60's built british car this one is as timid as a mouse when it comes to making noises though. some of my favourtites include
piston slapping sound if i try and reverse when cold
creaky noise from somewhere when pulling up drives sometimes
rattley noise from my seat
clicking solenoid in passenger door
whining fuel pump
creaking noises as bulkheat superheats my dash
and many more....
but the sound it makes in 3rd gear closing on a hundred is quite beautiful
