Loose cable by radiator

Morning,

Woke up today, looked out of the window and someone had uncovered the front of my car (I keep the car covered and in a car park).

Went down to have a look and found a crisp packet shoved in the front grill/hole (it's a facelift car). While fishing it out I noticed a cable hanging loose on the right hand side (as you look at the car from the front) in the big mouth at the front. It had one of the white electrical connector ends on it, but wasn't connected to anything.

Unfortunately I had to leave for work (not in the car) before I had a chance for a proper look or to read the Bible. Any ideas what it may be?

I have the same (pre-facelift).

I just assumed that the wireing loom was the same/very similar to the griff and that this was for the griff driving/fog lamps.

That would seem reasonable. Thanks Andy. I'll have a look in the Bible tonight just to make sure.
