Hi All, i know this has been asked before, but the search facility has not been working all morning and i am getting anxious.

I was away for a week, and on returning discovered that the alarm was making a barely audible sound. I tried to unlock the car with the plipper, and discovered that the car battery was flat. I managed to get in to the car, and with a lot of faffing managed to jump start the car, and went for a steady run to recharge the battery, which i have since had on trickle charge.

The battery seems ok now, but the remote plipper does not operate the locks, alarm or immobiliser. I can get the car to start, by inserting the little black plug on the keyring into the socket on the steering column, BUT How do i get the plippers back in to action?

many thanks, David

Dave

can't help I'm afraid, as mine doesn't run that sort of technology !

quick call to your favorite dealer ? or Carl Baker ?

... and time for a big red switch.

Cheers Mike, laugh
I think i know what has drained the battery, just need to get that bit sorted, and then make that call.

Disconnect the battery; wait 1 minute and reconnect will usually sort this out.
