Ignition Wiring

Following on from my "Chimaera Died Today" post I was wondering .... would the faulty wiring have caused erratic idling which I had recently? The idling was erratic just after starting up and the car would almost and occasionally stall when pulling away. Idling was fine once on the move and any subsequent starts after a run.

Ayone else suffered the same demise - a broken ignition wire causing total failure to start the car?

Have an auto electrician coming to have a look and hopefully get the Chim back on the road this week. I have a feeling its not going to be a straight forward job
