leven fuel cap

Hi
In the boot of my new chimaera, i found a brand new boxed "leven" alloy fuel cap.

With great excitement,i tried to put it on, only to find its too tight, and wouldnt turn to lock. I literally had to prise it off. does it need anything doing to it? or is it the wrong one or something? gutted, it looks gorgeous, but cant moan it was free in the car

Check leven website as there are 2 types if you have the box it will say on it.
You might have the wrong one.

If it's still boxed and brand new they might swap it for the right one

it still is in the box, and the red foam too. but as i didnt buy it from them, id feel really cheeky asking to swap it.

however, if anyone wants to buy it, ill be happy to sell and put towards the right one.

ill post up pics and part numbers later if anyone is interested
