Replacement light bulbs

Quick query.

I am off to France on Wednesday and tried to get a replacement bulb set from Halfords, to no avail, if it's not on the computer or flip chart it does'nt exist!

What make/model front h/lamp do we use, I've got 450 98' S plate. Once I've got that then they'll be able to give me the correct pack.

Hope someone can help.

Had same problem with light converter, but a 'general light guide seems to be instructive.

I've just been come back from Europe, but had the same problem before I went - couldn't tell which bulbs to get. In the end I didn't bother with the bulbs, but I did buy the stick on deflectors from Halfords for the headlights. They were £6.99, I had to cut them down but they did the job fine.

Headlamp bulbs are H4 55/80w halogen. Or 80/100 if you're naughty. Modwise do a bulb upgrade too.

I wouldn't bother with the deflectors - I've never used them on many trips into France/mainland Europe. How much driving are you planning to do after dark on a non-divided highway where you could blind someone?
