Kinda Scary!!

Since the journey to Pistonfest last week (and for the 900 ish miles since) my car was making a knocking/grinding/creaking sound from one of the front wheels. I thought it was just a wheel bearing on it's way out, or a stone stuck in the brakes or something.

A couple of days ago, I went to take the offside front wheel off to have a closer look and it turned out that all the wheel nuts where loose!! Must have been like that since it had a visit to a garage about a week and a half ago!! Did them up tight along with checking the rest and hey presto no horrible noises!!

I know it mentions this in the bible but i just thought i'd remind everyone it does happen.

No, different place. I won't name them though as they are actually a very good garage. I think maybe he just had a flat battery in the cordless drill he used to take the wheel nuts off!!!
