Auto electrican needed, central belt, Scotland
Discussion
Hi,
I've got an n reg 4.0 chim which has been left to me by a family member. the car was bought from an accident damage auction with a fusebox fire. the fusebox has been replaced (audi 80) and most of the major systems have been re-wired as the car starts and runs Psi, Rev instruments work etc and it was taken out for a "spin up the road" and all was fine. it's been sat garaged for about a year and still runs fine and now i've got time to spend on it, i'm gonna make it turn heads again.
So basically as i don't know much about car electrics does anyone know any good auto electrians in the
central belt of scotland that could check and tidy up the loom ?
Also as it's been layed up in the garage the clutch has hit the floor and will not return, there
is a pool of oil under the car, does this mean the clutch slave cylinder seals have gone ??
cheers for any help !!

Don't know anyone in Scotland, let alone a good auto electrician(rarer than rocking horse poo).
If everything works(?) I would leave well alone, don't assume the wiring is a complete mess until you have seen another Chimaera first.
As far as the clutch goes you could start with this thread and follow the links posted - it should answer most of your questions:
