Anybody got a pic of a chimaera with clear/white indicator?
Discussion
I know I've seen them somewhere, but not sure where now. The best I could find was by googling "TVR Chimaera" using the images option. Both post 2001 models and not particularly large pics I'm afraid:

I'd be interested in the advice on fitting them too though. I bought the kit ready to do when I picked up my car two weeks ago and not sure how to go about it. Thought the front ones would simply unscrew, but it looks like they are behind the shell at the edges and painted in. Wondering whether to bother now!

Have a look at the pics on my profile if you want a bigger picture! They are really easy to fit, you just need to cut out as much of the old silicone as possible from around the back then push smoothly but firmly on the old light from the front until it breaks the silicone and comes out. Then its just a case of unscrewing the connector from the back and mounting the new light. Don't forget to add some new indicator bulbs from Halfords (you'll need orange ones as I believe the originals are white). Stick a load of new silicone on with a finger and hold it in place until it stays put - this is obviously easier if you don't screw the back on until the new bulb has completely set in place.
As for the side ones, pop the old ones out with a flathead screwdriver at the back of the light (end nearest the back of the car), replace with new ones and pop the new ones back in. It helps to not damage the paint if you wrap some insulation tape around the flathead screwdriver before starting!

I think looking at your car you will need to go in through the front wheel arch,I think there is a round cover that is sealed by mastic that you have to cut away to get it open. Then the indicator is held in by mastic. My access route is different but the lamps came away very easily. You need to apply some sealant around the edge of the lamp and press it in the hole.I wedged mine in until the sealant was dry because they fell back in a few times before they had set.
The lamps I bought had the backing already attached to the lense..I've seen some that are just the lense and they look like a tough job to seperate the lense form the backing.I also painted the inside of the backing white..it was just a gold colour before..I also fitted silver bulbs so they didn't look like fried eggs.
Hope that makes sense.

Yeah sorry I used silver ones as well but they must light up orange rather than white. I have the same front grill as you and didn't find it necessary to go through the wheel arch hatch, I just reached round inside the front opening without even having to take the number plate off... Of course if its tricky to free it up then it only takes 2 minutes to undo the hatch anway (3 self tappers out then cut out the sealant or pry with a flathead screwdriver). Oh and yes they are only held in with sealant so it might come out very easily, it might take a bit of cutting depening on how trigger happy the guy with the sealant gun was on fitting them in the factory!

Graham, I'm about to do this and went to buy the silvered bulbs from Halfords but they were described as "offset Pin" - is this right for the Chim or are they straight pin?The lamps I bought had the backing already attached to the lense..I've seen some that are just the lense and they look like a tough job to seperate the lense form the backing.I also painted the inside of the backing white..it was just a gold colour before..I also fitted silver bulbs so they didn't look like fried eggs.
