...particularly like flying over my car? I know it's pretty, and you can expect the odd targetting, but 17 hits in one day! I mean seriously, that's just not funny. frown

Anyone got any hints on a good way to clean this crap off my hood? 7 of them landed there. Feeling pretty grumpy now...

-- suddenly appear - everytime you are near.

You're not a Carpenters' fan are you by any chance?

IMHO it is something to do with the colour. I had a green car once and it was a magnet for those avian deposits. Its a real hate of mine .... I want a shotgun for Christmas!

apparently, birds like crapping on cars that are a similar colour to them. This has been tested.

wood pigeons...grey and silver cars
seaguls.... white or grey cars
crows.... black cars etc

parrots? Tuscans with flip paint????

I think birds are much clever than we think, and enjoy having a laugh at our expense.

Even the flies have it in for my car. You want to try owning a Halcyon Midas Gold Chim. It seems to be the exact shade of yellow that every fly species is hardwired to love. Consequently, mine is always covered in little orange fly poos and hundreds of flies if I leave it on the drive (in the countryside)!!

Coincidence or not I can't be sure, but I have never owned a car that gets pooed on so much as the TVR. I only had to park it vaguely near a tree in the Summer and I would return to find it pebble dashed in every shade of poo possible. Right from standard black and white through to purple berry surprise. Crispy to gooey, I'e had it all. My roof is still faintly stained by a sloppy mottled beige with hint of fern effort recieved last August.!
