Hi All,
Looking at doing a change of parts. Can anyone advise me what parts are best for the job? Its a 97 5Litre.
Spark plugs
Engine oil
Dif Oil
Gearbox Oil
Plug leads
Distributor( the whole thing as fault on existing)
I'm thinking of doing the Turbo Conversion thats been mentioned on the forum so the stuff needs to be good.
Any help will be great.
Cheers

What I use..
Diff Oil - Millers CRX LS 80W/140 BM (for a BTR diff)
Engine Oil - Silkolene Pro S 5w/40 or 10w/50
Gearbox Oil - Factory spec is Mobil ATF 220 which is an autobox oil, but some say it is ok to use something like Redline MTF which protects better although the syncro may not work as well. I have not had to do mine yet so have not decided myself.
Plugs - the usual NGK ones are fine. I forget the exact model.

There are service kits on eBay at the moment ....
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-GRIFFITH-CHIMAERA-12K-SERVICE-KIT-TOP-QUALITY_W0QQitemZ300184853273QQihZ020QQcategoryZ108792QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Not sure of there claim "Full 12k service Kit' as you need a hell of a lot more than that for a full service.

The kit contains all the parts essential to follow the correct TVR service schedule.Things like brake pads, discs, belts etc are also normally listed in the shop, should your car need them at time of service, though such items are not mandatory to change at the service interval. We can tailor a kit to suit your needs.Obviously the kit excludes lubricants and fluids, which we consider are prohibitively expensive to send by post/courier (our business is driven on value as well as quality),though this could still be done at customers request! In our e-bay listings we encourage you to enquire if necesary. Many thanks,Mike,TVR Supplies http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-GRIFFITH-CHIMAERA-12K-SERVICE-KIT-TOP-QUALITY_W0QQitemZ300184853273QQihZ020QQcategoryZ108792QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
