As the title says really, my ice light blinks all three colours when switched on but when cold it will only ever show red so I have come to the conclusion that the thermistor is buggered. Does anyone know where I can get another? Maplin sell them but i'm unsure what rating to get!

It's a resistor whose resistance changes according to its temperature.

There is an earlier thread on here where someone had worked out that the resistance is 15K. I bought a couple from Maplins (68p I think) and fitted one in a bit of a rush. I don't think I've got a good connection as it only seems to work half of the time, sometimes the light will hesitate a bit and stay red after starting up. Looks like I've found myself a job in the garage for today then!
