Does anyone know if there was an original jack supplied with the car? I don't have one and don't really fancy carrying a trolley jack around with me. If so, does anyone know where I might get one?

Many thanks.

The earlier models with the skinny spare had a jack, my 1999 Chim without spare and only foam repair kit does not have a jack (or any tools).

My 97 has a skinny spare and a a rather ordinary looking scissor jack. Both went straight in the loft and replaced with some cans of tyre foam.

If you really want one have a hunt round a scrappy for something suitable I would think.

From my understanding, the spare wheel and tools became an option item about 1997.

So not too surprised you don't have one.

Personally I think better safe than sorry.

When you're looking for a sicsor jack at the scrapy, look for one like the original with a concave top end. This cups the chassis rail and stops the car slipping off.
Many jacks have a flat top that could slip or damage the chassis rails.
