Quite a bit this winter for me! So far the list is as follows:

- Fit new Emerald ECU - check
- Fit new led dash bulbs - check
- Put on shiney new gear knob - check
- Install new alarm system - check
- Fit new plenum - check
- Swap clutch release arm for modified one
- Change fuel filter
- Touch up chassis protection
- Possibly change steering UJs
- Possibly change drive shaft UJs

Should be good when it's done, can't wait to drive it based on the racket it was making in the garage! :-)

Just done my front indicators 2 days ago, couple of tips:

1) Bulb holder just unscrews, twist outer metal ring, inside bit should stay still but may be stiff.
2) Do left hand one first, it's easier as carbon canister in way on right.
3) They're just held in with a load of silicone, mine wouldn't budge and I was tempted to whack it with a hammer smash (my standard garage technique) but run a Stanley knife blade around the rim inside, then grab inside it with one hand and push from outside with other hand.
3) Right hand one a bit more awkward, but out of interest I push/pulled as above without any cutting and the whole thing came away taking old silicone with it.
4) Run silicone around new lens and wedge in place (I found WD40 tin fits inside neatly and wedge against wheelarch.
5) Can't believe a newbie mechanical moron like me is offering advice, so I bow out to anyone better experienced biggrin

Make sure you follow all the appropriate H&SE guidelines or you could end up doing yourself a nasty injury. wink
