Pulley hiting swirl pot?
Discussion
About 3 weeks ago i got a new swirlpot fitted after a hole seemed to have formed under the neck. 3 weeks on and the holes back in the new pot
with the belt fraying on the pulleys (pas i think ) i think it is catching the pot when the engine is under load??
anyone heard of this before?

If the engine's moving that far, the engine mounts must be loose/knackered?

Hi Carl,
I've had the same problem this weekend, only a very small hole, started missing wet leads was the cause, i saw water on the inlet manifold thought it was the gasket gone.
Long story but eventually saw the damaged swirl pot.
Was your problem engine mounts?
Another thought is a spacer under the pot and move it up a few mm .....
