30 mm makes all the difference !
Discussion
I have always felt that I could do with being a bit higher up to help when maneouvering and seeing over the roof (when down)
I finally got round to raising the seats at the weekend, using some 30x15 mm channel.
I went for the 30 dimension as an increase.
I drove it to work this morning and Wow what a diffence !
Its horrible !!!!!
I now feel I am sitting on the car not in it.
I would never have beleived how different the car feels. All my confidence in the handling has gone.
I will lower the seat again (maybe by 15 mm) ASAP, like tonight as soon as I get home !
Unbeleivable how different the car feels !!

The trick is to get the roof down as far as it can go. When the roof is down the elbow of the hinged aluminium braces should be touching the rear parcel shelf, many people find it difficult to achieve this. The trick is to release the Velcro on both the inside and outside and to make sure the no part of the roof fabric sits on top of the seatbelt top brackets whilst lowering the roof.
Wow Bob, your roof certainly looks very low in your photo from the rear.
I do have the problem of the roof stopping the seat belt retracting properly, so I must need to work on my technique for folding the roof.
Does anyone have any pics as I am sure I am not the only person with the roof problem.
