Hood cover

Due the house move it looks like the Chim may have to live outside for a while. Looked at the Leven hood cover, nearly died at the price of £150!!!
It hasn't ever leaked and I do the top with Thompsons but thought a cover might be a good idea. Not keen on a cover that goes over the whole car as I've heard horror stories about the paint bubbling on TVR's (and on Cobras), guess its a plastic car problem.
Anyone any ideas?

Mine doesn't leak either (also use Thompsons), but the hood cover does keep the weather off the roof (including the sum off the window). I tend to leave mine for long periods every now and then, that's why I got it.

Mine lives outside and doesn't leak and I have no problems at all. I do have a Leven roof cover but only use it when it's really frosty or very nasty howling rain.

Leven hood covers are well made and effective, but I know what you mean about the cost.

I got mine from the classifieds for £75.

I think the factory will have a couple left. They retail at £49 including carriage. Money back if you don't like it!

I saw one on e bay the other day - worth a look. They usually go for around £75 and worth the investement!
