ignition system failed

can anybody help please my 1995 chimaera let me down for the first time in 3 years on saturday went to start her up she fired up then went dead.no power to the ignition system checked the 25 amp ignition fuse it had blowen.replaced fuse it blow again and again called the R.A.C. after a 45 min wait he came had a look said i know nothing about t v r's replaced the fuse it blow, i will call up the tow truck said he. has he was replacing the carpet he said HANG ON the is a realy box hanging out,pushed it back in replaced the fuse BINGO SHE FIRED UP the problem is the green alarm light fails to work does anybody have any clue's.

Doesn't seem good enough, shouldn't he have phoned his control for information? the AA always do! After all TVR's have been around long enough now. Sounds like a later car than mine, so can't be of any help.
