I have the 300mm Wilwoods on my Chim - I'm very pleased with them.

Do they fit inside the 15" rims or did you have to go larger ?

I'd already gone to 17" wheels, so I'm afraid I don't know although, IIRC, GreenV8S has stated that they do fit. Just. smile

Any pictures available? This is something I'd like to do in the future.

As an interim measure, I have found that an upgraded 260mm disc (Tarox SJ) and ceramic pads are a vast improvement overstandard.

The standard calliper piston is quite large compared to the dual piston upgrades available and these have held up well on track days FWIW

300mm Wilwoods made a huge improvement to mine - much better brake balance so rears do not lock first. Now slightly front biased. For looks I would like to fit wilwoods to the rear, but that might mess up the balance again so I've not done anything about it yet.

Ian.

Wow those alloys look lovely. I've always been a fan of multi-spokes. I used to have some on my old Impreza. I'd love to get wheels like this on my chim too. I've just seen the alloys on Silverstone Motorsports website, are they the same?

Are the brakes any different on a 500 compared to the 400 & 450?
