In the poor weather we had been having I had left the car in the garage with the smart charger on.
I wanted to take the car out for a run as I been dieing to drive it. I tried starting it and it kept firing then dieing. Kept trying then left it for 10 minutes and tried again.
Eventually the battery gave up the ghost and I could smell fuel. I took all the plugs out and cleaned them up and put them back as they were wet. I left the battery on the smart charger. I returned later and now the immobiliser wont deactivate when I press the key fob. I tried all 3 of my key fobs and they recently had new batteries but none of them work it. I keep pressing and the led keeps flashing away.
Anyone got any ideas? Has my immobilser packed in? Is there a way I can bypass the immobiliser to see if it is the problem? I know that questions cant be answered so maybe someone could email me.
Hope you guys and girls can help.

Sorry to hear this mate, try this:

Disconnect one lead of the battery for 30 seconds. As soon as you reconnect, press the alarm button on your fob. Thsi should reset everything and you should be good to go.

Let us know how you get on

Sorted. I was being a dumb nut. I disconnected the battery and then noticed the led was still blinking. This was because my trickle charger was still on and conected. As soon as I tunred that off I managed to rest it without problem.
I think my battery is stuffed though so will invest in a new one.
Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
