I have put a letter in to the cerb section & now for your veiw on my problem!
I have saved up for a toy & dont know what car to go for?
The chimaera sounds like a good buy (5 ltr got about £14k)& the running costs seem a lot cheaper than cerbs.
Are the 5 ltr engines fairly reiliable & cars good in general? (is there anyone who has been lucky enough to have had both?)
Maybe there is someone who has had the griff as well because they seem very much alike?

Had the same problem myself earlier this year. Went for the Chim just now so I can enjoy summer days with the roof down and get used to the power. Going to trade it in for a Cerb when I get back from 6 months abroad next year. Insurance may have come down a bit by then as well.

You won't regret a Chim though if you get a sorted one.

Only 4 litre unfortunately, but more than sufficient to start off with. Think I would have killed myself by now if I had started off with a 5l.

Do you need the extra 2 seats to put things on (or small children)?
If not, go for the Chimaera - yes it's slower, but up to 80 there ain't much in it...You'll also have the fun of opentop motoring.
It'll be half the price to run (and sound better to boot)

I could do with extra seats ,but not at to higher cost from what i have been told it might be cheaper for them to follow on in taxi!!
