I suggest not driving it until the weekend. That should give it time to think of something.

Mine's been most gorgeous too, to and from Le Mans not a sausage, used regularly since then. Even took the little blighter away for the weekend, there and back without a hiccup. Was constantly checking the dials though and think it could be running a little warm...

Mine was running perfectly so I partexed it for a Tamora from TMS ... it's been back three times in four months and is currently there again. So there's your answer, upgrade, ideally at TMS, and have problem after problem ... then at least you'll have something to maon about on here !!

See, I knew you shouldn't have been giving that gear box LARGE behind me the other week....!

Edited to say, smugly… Just returned from France having completed a total of 930 miles in a week, (sat in French bank holiday traffic, 1st gear stop/go for 50 mins/45 & 20 mins in 30+ degree heat) and not a problem. Well apart from the attention he got getting on the Ferry, then off, every petrol station we stopped at, and basically everywhere except being parked in the underground apartment car park. Driving in France – love it…!! Highly recommend taking your Trev to France.

Just spent 10 days driving around the Lake District - blinding trip. Did about 1000 miles, used virtually no engine oil (1 mm on dipstick), a cup of coolant and averaged 26mpg overall (Chim 400). Did not overheat when sunny, did not leak a drop when it bucketed down for the best part of two days and nothing fell off or packed up. It dealt with 25% gradients as if they were not there, all in all cannot think of any other car I have owned that would have done any better.

Planning to drive to Switzerland soon, hope my luck continues

Only about 4 bottles..!!! As with roof, 2 x cases, bag of bed linen + Towels, and the essential travel kit (Petrol, First Aid box, Mobile 1, Bag of assorted spanners – not that I’d know what to do with them I just felt prepared!, screw drivers, mole grips + warning triangle, oh and RAC card) - there was very little room left in the boot. I reckon a hair dryer takes up the space for at least 2 if not 3 bottles of wine. But oh no.... We had to take the hair dryer..!

I have to lug two hairdryers along if we go overnight anywhere. Even if the hotel has them.

jj ... not gearbox problems this time ... oil sensor, doors rubbing, windscreen condensation. Should be back by the weekend and then I'll put the sports exhaust on that's currently sat on my office floor. Won't make quite as much noise as yours but will sound good nonetheless.

By the way, I went to the Northants TVRCC thing at the Queen Eleanor this month. If the weather's good next month you should try it.
