So - the new member of our family is home!

And thanks to a sudden inspired attempt at converting our garage back to a garage (the previous owners converted it into a workshop) she is safe and sound indoors.

I have to say a huge thank you to Fernhurst who did a fantastic job of preparing the car. Even after I had paid the deposit I kept wondering if buying from a dealer is the best way - but now that I've seen how much work Fernhurst put into preparing the car (mechanical as well as cosmetic) it's clear you get a lot more for the extra money than just peace of mind and a warranty. They replaced a few bits and pieces, adjusted the suspension, painted and waxoyled the chassis and treated the roof. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Starmist green - once properly clean - is a lot more "sparkly" than it was when I first saw the car. Which is OK, because once the car gets a little dirty it will look the way I first saw it, which I preferred..!

Roll on tomorrow!

Neither! The car had only just arrived (last Saturday) and hadn't even been prepped yet. I saved them the trouble of putting it up for sale! ;-)
