door trim

as i dont have the bible how do i get the door trim off so that i can tighten the door mirror please.

You have to take the speaker out and with the windows up feel around and you will find (4 in my case) nuts and washers holding the door trim on, remove these and it will come off, the final nuts are a bit further back than the cig lighter, be prepared to lose some skin.

If you had the bible it would show you that to tighten the mirror it is done from the outside of the door!

Stop being so helpfull, he asked how to get the door trim off, we could have had a great laugh tomorrow (if he's very lucky) when he came back with "got the door panel off, how do I fix the mirror"

thanks for that gents ,i was under the impression that the door trim had to come off to tighten a grub screw which holds the mirror on , as my mirror is loose and does not stay in one place for long, but if as you say i can do this from the outside then great i will search the archives ....thanks..
