I'm sure Peter will be along shortly to ensure you also buy some 'restore' so that your engine will not fall apart with increased power, as well as advice on how to erect a mast and pickups ala trolley bus to power the thing.

I take it you're talking about the electric things?
I saw these and thought they looked to good to be true and I got some interesting replies when I asked the question on here and all (as I suspected they would be) were negative, don't even think about wasting your money

"Up to 20 bhp" is entirely believable. Bear in mind that "0 bhp" and "-10 bhp" all qualify as "up to 20 bhp".

All these rip-offs on ebay make me laugh, like those power boost valve things, what a load of rubbish!

Um, 'power boost valve' is just a fancy name for a rising rate fuel pressure regulator - nothing especially 'snake oil' about that as it does what it says on the box.

I think I might try a 3kw heater fan instead, aswell as the extra power at least it will blow some warm air on these cold nights

Could always stuff a couple in the rear bulkhead vents, for emergency fart dispersal hehe
Sure can't think of any other beneficial use for 'em
